Allan Stanford M.S., LPC, LMFT
Allan Stanford is a Licensed Professional Counselor (AR# P2108001), and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (AR# M2108000). He earned his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis on Clinical Mental Health from John Brown University and completed the globally recognized Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) training program through The International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals in 2020. Allan is a Co-Founder of Little Rock Counseling & Wellness and has been seeing clients there in private practice since early 2017.
Allan works primarily with couples experiencing conflict, recovering from affairs, struggling to communicate, and finding sex difficult. This work pursues growth and healing for both partners through a combination of individual and couple’s therapy. He also enjoys working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, personal crisis, and spiritual struggle. Allan lives in Central Arkansas with his wife of 16 years and their 5 children. His interests outside of family and therapy would include reading, gardening, SCUBA diving, and traveling if he didn’t have so many kids. He has worked as a therapist, case manager, database developer, waiter, fry boy, and dry-clean bagger.
