She diligently pursues specialized training in order to better serve clients who are dealing with the complexity of symptoms of traumatic stress. Over the past three years, her focus has been on intensive training in Somatic Experiencing, a three-year training program based on the work of Dr. Peter Levine. Whitney completed her Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) certification in October of 2018. She also has participated in specialized training with IITAP (International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals), BASE (Bodywork and Somatic Education), and Transforming the Experienced-Based Brain (TEB).

Whitney would be happy to answer any other questions you have about her trainings, experience, and perspectives on the therapeutic process. You can view her schedule here.

**Whitney is not currently taking new clients. Due to having recently started a full-time Ph.D. program in research, Whitney is no longer taking new clients. However, she does have a couple of other therapists who she trusts and refers to often. Whitney has found that people referred to her are often also a really good match for Savanna Scott, who Whitney convinced to join LRCW recently for just this reason. Jeremiah Taylor has also recently joined the team and has extensive experience using EMDR to help people heal from traumatic experiences. Online scheduling is available for both Savanna and Jeremiah.
