Taylor Laporte M.S., LPC

Taylor LaPorte (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arkansas and Tennessee. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rhodes College in 2015 and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Memphis in 2022. Over the past six years, Taylor has worked across various levels of care, including outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and residential treatment settings. Her clinical experience includes supporting adolescents and adults navigating eating disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, and OCD.

Taylor believes that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful healing. Her intention is to create a safe, secure, and authentic connection where clients can experience a secure attachment and trust that can extend into other areas of their lives. She is trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Kundalini Yoga, and Reiki, and integrates these approaches through a holistic lens to help clients explore the different parts of themselves that are seeking understanding, compassion, care, and healing. Through parts work, Taylor helps clients develop a deeper understanding of their internal systems, reconnect with their innate wisdom, and rebuild trust in their Self to create lasting change. A phrase clients often hear from Taylor is, “I will hold onto hope for you until you can hold it for yourself.”

Taylor lives in Little Rock with her husband, son, and two dogs. After living in Memphis, Tennessee for 15 years, she recently relocated to Arkansas. Outside of the therapy room, Taylor enjoys reading across a variety of genres, playing long (but not Monopoly!) board games, practicing yoga, and traveling.
