Kacy Long
MS Ed.S LPC RYT
Kacy is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about creating a safe, affirming, and inclusive therapy environment. She aims to make attachment and trauma-focused work accessible and understandable for all of her clients. Kacy earned her Master of Science and Educational Specialist degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Harding University where she also completed her undergraduate work in psychology. Previously, Kacy worked in a domestic violence shelter, a child advocacy center, a residential treatment facility, and an outpatient therapy setting. Her clientele has consisted of adults, teens, and children.
Kacy utilizes evidence based interventions to empower her clients and to help them develop safety within their bodies, embrace connection, and grow in self-compassion. Kacy has a deep understanding of the mind-body connection, and she often incorporates somatic body work techniques to facilitate emotional processing and healing. She supports holistic healing by guiding clients towards reconnecting with their needs with out shame and fostering healing in relationship through attunement and vulnerability.
