Isis Pettway

LPC

A calm, creative, and compassionate person, Isis is a licensed professional counselor (LPC #P2304012) serving residents in the state of AR. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Central Arkansas and her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an Emphasis in Play Therapy from John Brown University. She is currently licensed by the Arkansas Board of Counseling Examiners.

Her background and training includes working with populations in the inpatient and outpatient setting, non-profit programs, crisis counseling and residential care facilities. She works with children (ages 6 and up), adolescents and adults. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and more with her clients so that they are able to manage their daily lives with healthy outcomes.

Isis leans into her trainings, in various modalities, with her clients such as cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, person centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused therapy. Her approach to therapy is one of collaboration with the client because she knows that the client is the expert on themselves first and always. However, she strives to provide a brave space for her clients and says thank you in advance for trusting her, and yourself, for this collaboration effort to start your therapy journey.
