Amanda Robinson

M.S., LPC, SEP in Training

Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Arkansas (P2201010). She received her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Arkansas. She has experience working individually with children, teens, and adults, as well as providing group and family therapy.

She specializes in treating anxiety, depression and trauma. Amanda has training in various modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and  solutions focused therapy. Amanda is currently a trainee in Somatic Experiencing, a highly specialized trauma modality and three year program based on the work of Dr. Peter Levine.

In her approach to therapy, Amanda believes while trauma and distress oftentimes happen alone, healing happens together in the presence of trusted others. She also passionately believes in the human’s capacity to heal and grow, and relies on the client’s expertise of themselves to collaboratively work together to achieve growth, healing, and wholeness.
