Jeremiah Taylor is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor (P1810139) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Supervisor (M0708004). During his time working in a residential treatment center he became proficient using EMDR to help people heal from traumatic experiences. He was also trained as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, developing a special focus on helping individuals and families recover from process and substance addictions. Jeremiah has also worked in cross cultural contexts, church based ministry, and in a medical clinic integrating mental health. He is thrilled to have joined Little Rock Counseling & Wellness in the Fall of 2020.
Jeremiah has dedicated his professional life to helping people face three of life’s great challenges: addictions, trauma and relationships. You might work well with Jeremiah if you have experienced pain or life interruption from one of these challenges and are ready to have an expert on your side.
Jeremiah has a global outlook which was formed while living in Asia, Alaska and Arkansas, and travelling to several other countries. This has given him a distinct delight for working with people from all backgrounds. Jeremiah and his wife have been blessed with three children and they enjoy discovering new adventures together. Jeremiah has been inspired by the Eco-Challenge races hosted in wild places around the world. But his family has pointed out that if riding his road bike for 30 miles wears him out he may not be ready for the world class competitions yet. He remains hopeful.
